How to Take Part

1.    Pick up a Autumn Winter Reading Challenge bookmark from your library.
2.     Borrow and Read 4 books during the challenge period.
3.     Mark each book on your bookmark.
4.     Return your completed bookmark by 1 December 2026.

All completed entries will be entered into a prize draw.

Terms & Conditions
1.    The Adult Reading Challenge runs from 15 October 2026 to 1 December 2026.
2.    The challenge is open to Kilkenny library members aged 18 years and over.
3.    Participants must borrow and read four books during the challenge period and record them on the official challenge bookmark.
4.    Books may be borrowed in any library format, including physical items and eBooks, eAudiobooks via the Borrowbox App.
5.    Completed bookmarks must be returned to a participating library by close of business on 1 December 2026.
6.    Participants must provide accurate contact details to enable prize winners to be contacted.
7.    One completed bookmark equals one entry into the prize draw. Multiple entries are allowed
8.    Library staff and their immediate family members may enter the challenge but are not eligible to win prizes. 
9.    Winners will be selected at random from eligible completed entries.
10.    The library's decision is final.
11.    By entering, participants agree to be contacted if they win.
12.    Prize winners may be photographed for promotional purposes.
13.    By entering the challenge, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
