Time to Reflect: Kilkenny County Council Library Service offer Online Wellbeing Supports

null
Kilkenny County Council Library Service have developed a series of online wellbeing supports to encourage everyone to use practical tools and simple ideas to help look after your overall wellbeing during this difficult time.

We will host a series of four 15-minute video workshops online weekly, beginning Friday 1st May, at 7pm. This new initiative will be led by Kilkenny practitioner, Dee Hennessy of Mindful Facilitation, who has over 20 years’ experience in evidence-based studies.
Each session will include breathing exercises, a practical lesson and finish with some practical tips. Themes covered include dealing with anxiety, staying grounded, resilience and connections.
These will be available to all, through www.kilkennylibrary.ie and www.kilkennycoco.ie and on our social media platforms.

“This is a great opportunity for the people across Kilkenny to take time out of everything and focus on their own emotional wellbeing” says County Librarian, Josephine Coyne. “These videos were designed to be short, positive and practical, and we are delighted to be working with Dee, who is such an experienced practitioner”
This initiative is just one example of how Kilkenny County Council is supporting community wellbeing through this difficult time.
