The intention of the workshop is to encourage creativity through the writing of poetry (if anyone wishes to bring along another form e.g. memoir, we’ll discuss that also). Participants can be new to writing or more experienced; the session is set up to consider both.
We will have examples of poetry and also a variety of props to get us thinking about writing.
We’ll then do some writing within the time and share our thoughts on the process.
The outcome is that participants leave with either a new or renewed wish to write using some of the props and ideas circulated within the workshop.
