Seachtain na Gaeilge is an international Irish language festival, that takes place from March 1st-17th each year. This year, our mobile library staff have donned their hataí cruthaitheacha, as they work with two local nursing homes.
Activities are a very important part of daily living for the older person. Our Bingo as Gaeilge will guarantee that our local nursing homes won't run out of entertainment ideas during Irish Week! Thanks to Marian Neary, and Laura Bolger ón tithe altranais for liaising with library staff on this new initiative. We are delighted to support those who coordinate activities for the wellbeing of people in nursing homes. Your bingo cards will arrive go luath.
