To support people to continue their reading journey after our national reading day, we have organised an exciting series of talks with successful Irish Authors and literary names- Liz Nugent, Rick O’Shea, Una Manion and Donal Ryan. These are part of Kilkenny County Council’s Keep Well Community Resilience Campaign, and will inspire and encourage readers to take a break from the challenges of life, and find some me time with a good book or magazine. These talks will be broadcast on our website, kilkennylibrary.ie, our facebook page @kilkennylibrary or Kilkenny County Council YouTube.
Our Ireland Reads Adult Series continues tonight, with RTE's Rick O'Shea. Rick will discuss his love of books and reading, how The Rick O'Shea Book Club grew to phenomenal success and his 'must reads' for 2021.
This is part of our Keep Well Ireland Reads Programme of events, supporting creativity
