Public Access Computer Services

A phased return of public pc services will commence on Tuesday, 21st  September 2021. Due to Covid 19 restrictions both numbers of pcs and times are limited. This is to insure the health and well-being of users and staff.

  How do I access a Public PC?

 PC access is by appointment only, you must ring or email the library in question in advance.

 How long can I use the PC?

 Sessions are strictly half hour only, you cannot book consecutive sessions.

 What PC services are available?

 Printing and scanning services are available. Limited staff help is available at the moment.

 What measures are in place to insure my safety?

 The health and safety of library customers and staff governs all decisions regarding the gradual re-opening of library services and we are working with national guidelines in relation to social distancing and sanitation to provide a safe library experience.

All library users must wear face coverings for the duration of their visit. PC users must sanitise their hands on entering the library. All pcs and hardware must be sanitised before and after every session by the user. Wipes will be available at every station

Can I use my own laptop/tablet and use library wi-fi?

 Yes you can, again subject to booking a half hour slot and sitting at the allocated pc station.
