Decorate your windows with Silhouettes for Castlecomer’s Festival of Light! Free classes for adults and over 16’s, on Saturday 11th November from 11am – 1pm.
Tall Tales and Deadly Drawings exhibition celebrates children's books, storytelling and reading and is on loan from the National Library of Ireland and on display from 6th to 25th November. Tall Tales has broad appeal, it is of particular interest to primary students and the exhibition and its accompanying resources have been specially written with them in mind.
Knitting, crochet, Crafts As the long evenings draw in, you might be interested in taking up Knitting or crochet! Call to the Library any Thursday morningfrom 10am –12pm and meet with the creative members of the Nattering Knitters Group. You may pick up some tips!
Team Hope Christmas Shoebox appeal: We are once again taking boxes for this worthy cause. Closing date: Nov 10th.
Our new Children’s Book Club will meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 3pm, next meeting: Wed Dec 6th.
Castlecomer Library’s Ladies’ Friendship Club meet twice monthly in Library meeting room. Next meeting: 14th November. Join them for a cuppa, chat and exchange of views and information! Facilitator: Sarah Kearns.
